Messengers are the first step on a way towards the introduction of modern technologies

Automatization, artificial intelligence, neural networks and machine learning are probably among the most highly discussed topics in the world at the moment.

During the World Economic Forum 2017 in Davos, a lot of time was dedicated to the topic of artificial intelligence and automatization.

Robotization, considered the flagship of the fourth industrial revolution and a driver towards massive global economy changes, is one of the four main topics that concern WEF experts. There is a reason for this; according to recent research by the international management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, more than one billion full-time jobs can be partially or entirely automated, with just 100 million of them located in Europa and USA. However, Davos Forum speakers agreed that it is currently still too early to take modern technologies as a serious danger. Which means that it's exactly the right time to examine some of these innovative technologies and their possible application for automating a great number of processes for companies with a developed branch management structure.

What are the strong points of already available technologies of artificial intelligence, applicable to the reality of business and government structures? Where is it possible to employ AI, and, more importantly, how this technology can be introduced?

In fact, machine learning and AI can be useful for your business once you have the data to analyze. Let's see how we can collect the data and where to start:

1. Data collection / gathering

Information is the core of any business process. This term describes a huge body of various data processed by your employees, and even devices, on a daily basis, including work materials, legal frameworks, emails, messenger texts, task trackers, CRM systems, voice and many other channels.

If the information flow in your company is not unified, e.g. does not have a united processing and storage address, it would make sense to centralize data gathering first. The dialog platform offers all the necessary tools for unifying channels of information.

It's a platform which is based on a modern flexible MQTT protocol which allows you to connect dialog to different business applications already in use, and, if necessary - to receive status notifications from your hardware and engineering services. All the events happening inside the dialog platform are aggregated in the United event bus, which stores all the current information.

Which data can be collected in dialog?

Messengers, CRM and email

This is how it works - after connecting CRM/ tracker/ email to dialog, you will be able to interact with these applications directly through the messenger interface. For example, once you receive a new email, you will get a short notification from the email bot, which will immediately offers you the ability to answer using one of the previously designed templates or to send a customized response.

Chat can receive any information from your business applications, so you are able to process it in real time, no matter where you are.

Audio and video connection, conference calls

A massive amount of data is transmitted during communication with the clients or branch offices with the use of telephone services This can be a significant business expenditure. The dialog platform provides tools which allow you to make as many phone and conference calls as needed, which means you can also collect the data about both internal and external phone calls.

Informational system, staff database etc

You can easily manage access to any database, documents and files through the dialog administrative panel, and your employees won't need to spend time requesting the required information from their colleagues - our bot will find the required data from the corporate databases using keyword filters. It's also possible to update and change database information through the messenger interface, provided you have the necessary access rights.

We here examined 3 main sources of corporate data which can be combined using dialog's simple, adjustable and user friendly platform. Moving on to the next step - data analysis.

2. Data analysis

Dialog machine learning analytic algorithms allow you to analyze data from the United event bus which provides a full analytical report of a company's activity and even gives optimization recommendations. The algorithm will highlight any weak points which require your attention, and will point out matters which are given unnecessary attention.

In the future this information will allow you to increase the productivity of particular employees or even the whole department.

Therefore integration of dialog will be the first step towards the introduction of such innovative technologies as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
